BNP’s senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi complained that the banking sector has collapsed today after one bank was looted. Ruhul Kabir Rizvi gave a speech calling for the boycott of upazila elections on Thursday morning after distributing leaflets in Shantinagar Bazaar area of the capital.

In his speech, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi criticized the ban on entry of journalists to Bangladesh Bank. He said that the people of Bangladesh are not being allowed to know what is happening inside Bangladesh Bank, the regulator of all banks. There are restrictions imposed on the journalists, so that they cannot enter the bank and get any news.

Rizvi said, a famous economist said that there has been a major sabotage in the bank of Bangladesh. Money has been smuggled by hacking the code of Bangladesh Bank. He said, there is no answer. The government cannot give any answer to this.

Incidentally, Bangladesh Bank has denied the authenticity of a recent online reserve theft report in India. The agency said in a statement that a three-level security policy is currently in place to ensure transactions with the New York Fed. As a result, the information published is fake.

Rizvi claimed that the government elected by the dummy vote is the occupation government. They have no mandate from the people. They don’t need people’s votes. Here the upazila election is just a formality. So skip this election.
